Daylight and fresh air improve the teachers’ and students’ learning environment
Thanks to a major renovation, Roskilde Cathedral School has now altered the construction and expanded the floor space by 2,500 m2.
VELUX modular skylights play a major role in the extension, providing daylight into the canteen and new teaching areas.
- Two Ridgelight solutions with 36 and 14 modules respectively were installed.

About half of the modules are venting modules that can be opened for ventilation.
- The installation of the 50 modules was completed in two days.
The effect of daylight on performance and energy levels is acknowledged by both students and teachers.
