Van Mossel Automotive Group is a renowned mobility company with a 75-year history and dedicated team of over 5,000 employees.

Set for completion in 2023, a new build HQ and logistics centre in Waalwijk, The Netherlands will make the most of natural light via a central atrium. The eye-catching 31,000 square metre building accommodates over 250 employees. The headquarters will also be home to a museum displaying classic cars.

VELUX Commercial was chosen as the daylighting partner for this project due to previous project success with installer, Van de Ven Veghel. The atrium in the office is constructed using the made to measure structural glazing system. The prefabricated Vario Continuous Rooflight system  also brings diffused daylight into the logistics centre. Rows and individual square rooflights will provide additional daylight throughout multipurpose spaces.

On project completion, optimal daylight, as well as fresh air provided by Vario rooflights, will support employee well-being and productivity. Daylight design will also lower energy consumption with less reliance on artificial lighting. The new-build aims to achieve BREEAM excellence certification upon completion.
