VELUX Modular Skylights provide ample daylight to this north facing building
The challenge on this project was to bring daylight into the heart of the trade union’s headquarters building.
With its elegant and understated design, the CFDT has now become a building which provides a comfortable working environment, thanks to reinforced thermal insulation in winter and summer.
The large skylights create visual consistency and provide unrestricted sky views. The four rows of modular skylights bring light into enter the heart of the building and the natural light contrasts elegantly with the black and wood tones of the interior design.
Solar panels were installed on the south slope of the northlights to produce clean and sustainable energy.
