A plan for the future starts with our past Together with WWF International (World Wide Fund for Nature), we are capturing our historical C02 emissions through forest conservation.
Why forest projects with WWF? Restoring and conserving forests are efficient ways to capture carbon from the air and to safeguard biodiversity globally. WWF knows where new trees are needed and where old should be preserved. Read more on velux.com
Why the 1.5°C reduction target? Climate science shows it is necessary to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, so we commit to reduce our future emissions to meet this target and lead the change in global corporate climate action. The Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) has approved our targets aligned with the Paris Agreement 1.5°C path. Read more on velux.com
