Green oasis - office building in Haelen
When expanding their headquarters, Geelen Counterflow were looking for a highly sustainable solution that was in line with cradle-to-cradle design principles. They chose a prefabricated construction that can be dismantled and recycled at the end of its life.
Included in the solution were 18 VELUX modular skylights that bring daylight deep into the interior of the building. In the middle of the office building, a two storey atrium with Longlights transforms the space into an unexpected oasis of tranquillity.

The Geelen Counterflow headquarters received five stars on the BREEAM NL certification system, the highest achievable rating.
