The Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark was established in 2015 and is the daily setting for more than 3,000 students and 300 staff. The 19,000 m² premises house three of the University's departments, and have given researchers, students and staff superb surroundings for developing technical solutions for society's future challenges.

The faculty meets the requirements for low energy class 1 according to BR95 (Danish building codes). This means minimal energy consumption, good indoor climate and use of materials with a low environmental impact in a life cycle perspective.
