VELUX Modular Skylights create interior accents within the historic walls and provide plenty of natural light
The brick architecture of the rubber goods factory, built in 1889, was used by music bands and theatre groups after it was closed in the late 1940s. The building complex underwent a careful full refurbishment in 2015 and once again attracts the creative scene after years of lying empty. VELUX Modular Skylights create exciting interior accents within the historic walls, providing plenty of natural light, and blend inconspicuously into the historic setting.
- 43 VELUX Modular Skylight modules are used throughout the complex.
- Several Longlight and Ridgelight solutions in different sizes provide daylight for the ballet school, tailor's shop, coffee roasting house and an event room.
- Both fixed modules and modules with SHEV function were installed.
The VELUX skylights create an airy atmosphere inside, and contrast with the dark red brick walls.
