VELUX Modular Skylights bring daylight to expanded hospital care stations

The ramified building complex of the Agaplesion Bethesda Hospital in Wuppertal clearly documents the long history of the clinic, which was opened in 1886 as the "Bethesda Association for General Nursing in Elberfeld".

For the urgently needed expansion of its care stations, the organisation responsible for the hospital in Wuppertal decided to add an attic floor with a mansard roof to an existing building wing. Two Longlights from the VELUX Modular Skylights system, each consisting of 15 modules, now provide plenty of daylight in the inner hallway of the new station. The sunlight from above and the unobstructed sky views are highly valued by both the staff and the patients and promote their well-being and recovery.
